III Next time change

The next time change in Spain will be on Sunday, March 29, 2026, when daylight saving time begins. During the night, clocks will be set forward one hour, moving from 02:00 to 03:00 (peninsular time)
III Magic Fountains

Until March 31, 2026, the Montjuich fountains will operate on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. From April 1, there will be a new schedule, but the Barcelona City Council has not published it yet.
III Camp Nou

In November 2025, the Barça returned to the Camp Nou, but the renovation works have not yet been completed. For the moment, the capacity is approximately 45.000 spectators.

As every year, there will be several races in Barcelona that could affect traffic, particularly the Barcelona Marathon. This should be taken into account especially when booking a transfer from the city center to the airport.
III Restaurants
There are many restaurants in Barcelona. However, beware of tourist traps where people try to lure customers at the entrance of the establishments, such as on the Paseo Juan de Borbón in Barceloneta or on Las Ramblas.
III Parks and Gardens
There are many parks and gardens in Barcelona. The best known are Park Güell, Ciutadella Park, Cervantes Park and Parc del Centre del Poblenou.
III Shopping Centers
There are many shopping centers in Barcelona, such as Illa Diagonal or las Arenas at Plaza España
III Flea Markets
There are many flea markets in Barcelona. For example, the one in Plaça Blanquerna, which takes place on the second Sunday of the month. In the Diagonal Mar district, there is the Palo Alto market, on the first weekend of the month. At the Sant Antoni market, every Sunday, there are books, records, and more.

The trade fairs are held mainly at the Fería de Montjuich near Plaza España or at the Fería Gran Via at l'Hospitalet de Llobregat. The congresses are held mainly at the CCIB (Barcelona International Convention Center)
Pickpockets
Beware of thieves and pickpockets. As transport professionals, we are often directly or indirectly confronted with this issue. From time to time, a colleague, a customer, a hotel employee, or even ourselves may become victims or witnesses of a theft or attempted theft.
Pickpockets are not limited to tourist hotspots in Barcelona, such as the Gothic Quarter or Barceloneta. They also operate in the Eixample and in areas farther from the city center. Even Montserrat and Barcelona Airport are not exempt, especially given the large number of tourists and international travelers present there.
Of course, the fact that thieves can appear anywhere does not mean they are everywhere. In most cases, pickpockets act discreetly, often without the victim noticing anything at all. Still, with a little common sense and caution, you can greatly reduce the chances of becoming a target.
For example, if you are sitting on a café terrace or waiting in a train station, always keep an eye on your phone and bag. On the metro or in crowded areas, it is best to carry your bag in front of you rather than on your back. If a stranger approaches you on the street to ask for information, it is usually safer to move away. And if you are in a stationary vehicle, be mindful that someone could quickly open a door or reach through a window to grab an item and run off.
Sidewalks and Zebra Crossings
When walking down the street, be careful. Despite the bike paths, scooters or bicycles are still running on the sidewalks, in both directions and without respecting the safety rules. On a zebra crossing, when crossing a bike path, keep in mind that some bikes do not respect your priority. Also watch out for motorcycles and cars that tend not to let you through
